A family in Heaven and earth which is a family of God. In 1998 with the birth of a new decade, the Servant of God was led to South Africa to spearhead a new move of God to Africa and the world, to change the face of the continent in Jesus’ name.
After which a move of God began, led by the Spirit (Zechariah 4:6) which resulted into a spiritual explosion where salvation, deliverance and healing both spiritual and physical was experienced and is experienced (Isaiah 2:6)
The Church was led into a New Testament pattern (Exodus 25:9) of doing God’s work in an atmosphere of Doctrine, Power, and Revelation (I Corinthians 2:1-5)

What we believe in
We believe God has started a move through the church of Jesus which the gates of hell shall not prevail against.
Matthew 16:18 – And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Ephesian 3:15. From humble beginnings in Zambia, the servant of God was led by the Spirit to open Believers Family Church in 1990 in Lusaka. Believers Family Church’s name originates from Ephesians 3:15
In 1998, guided by God's vision, Prophet Brian Israel Chimbano ventured to South Africa. With faith as his only companion, he founded Believers Family Church, affectionately known as BFC. From humble beginnings, the church embarked on a transformative journey, trusting in God's plan as stated in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord."
The path was not always smooth. The church and its leader were put through divine trials, a process that tested their faith and resilience. Despite the challenges, he remained steadfast, adhering to the word of God and the vision he was given, as echoed in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
His dedication bore fruit. Through him, thousands were taught to live by the word of God, and to depend solely on it. Through his guidance, a new generation of leaders was born - Pastors, Ministers, Elders, and Deacons. Each one nurtured to lead with faith and integrity, as it is written in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it"
The church faced the challenge of renting different properties for holding services. However, in His perfect time, God made all things beautiful, as stated in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Now, BFC has its own beautiful temple at 126 Maltzan Street, Pretoria West, next to Pilditch Show Grounds, where they gather to worship the living God.
